On Tuesdays I have a standing lady date with my cousin, we usually stick around Colorado Springs and end up in eating lunch on a patio somewhere in Manitou Springs but this week we vowed to be more adventurous SOOOO we got lost along some back roads and on a whim decided to head to Golden! So glad we did 😍 It's so charming and I was beyond jealous of everyone playing/tubing/kayaking in the river… Although in 100 degree heat I couldn't resist soaking my toes for a minute 😉 I also had the BEST fish tacos at Blue Canyon Grill! Such a wonderful day… I'm thinking our lady dates always need this much adventure! #goldencolorado

Lately I find myself thinking, 'Is this real? Is this my life?' How did I end up in this place, in Alaska, with these people? If you would've told me just three months ago that I would be doing this, I wouldn't have believed it. My life has taken such an amazing turn. It's full of spontaneity, breathtaking adventures, and seemingly endless streaks of really good luck. This is the kind of life I want to live. The kind where I regularly find myself thinking, 'This IS real. This IS my life.' Photo by @mike_pgregory
