Adding to a growing list of accolades received this year, CrowdRiff has been named to the 2019 Startup 50 ranking of Canada’s Top New Growth Companies by Canadian Business and Maclean’s today, with a two-year revenue growth of 350%.
The Startup 50 profiles the fastest-growing startups in the country. Serving as a companion list to the longstanding Growth 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies (formerly known as the PROFIT 500), the Startup 50 is published in a special Growth 500 print issue of Canadian Business (packaged with the October issue of Maclean’s magazine) and online at CanadianBusiness.com.
Over the past two years, CrowdRiff has not only grown in revenue, we’ve grown our team from 52 full-time employees at the end of 2017 to 110 employees today. And, perhaps most importantly, CrowdRiff has helped our customers – including destinations, resorts, theme parks, and others in the travel industry – grow their businesses as well.
Travel marketers have been using CrowdRiff’s AI-powered content marketing platform to source, manage, and deliver highly engaging user-generated content (UGC) that gets their customers clicking. These travel marketers have harnessed the power of UGC visuals sourced from social networks to boost their brand’s digital marketing performance, drive greater engagement with prospective customers, and increase visitors’ time on their websites by as much as 400%.
“The 2019 Startup 50 winners suggest the future of Canadian entrepreneurship is extremely bright. They have brought new offerings to market, created indelible brands and disrupted established business models—all in an extremely short period of time,” says Beth Fraser, Startup 50 and Growth 500 program manager. “Any aspiring entrepreneur should look to their stories for inspiration.”
We are thrilled to be recognized as one of the leading startups in Canada, and we look forward to continuing to propel travel and hospitality marketers with the power of visual content.
