It’s hard to swing an iPad in a boardroom and not hit somebody talking about “making content more visual”. At this point, we all know that photos drive engagement, and that social media is an abundant supply of great content. With a never-ending flow of photos and a mandate to push real-time content, embeddable galleries have become a de facto necessity. Unfortunately, many of the solutions being offered are clunky and incongruous, hurting user experience and negating the performance advantage of social photos. We’re users too, and with an opportunity to make the Web a prettier place, we built our own embeddable photo galleries.

It adapts to fit your page
One of the main problems with galleries provided by third parties is that they don’t often seem to be able to match the look and feel of the rest of the page; they look like they’ve been jammed into the website. From the brand’s end, embedding a gallery makes it easier to manage the content and preserve context. From the user’s end, though, it’s a subtle signal of dedication. Social content is supposed to build loyalty by showing that the brand is connected to its community.
When a gallery sticks out like a sore thumb with nested scroll bars or awkward tiling, it makes that component of your site – and by extension, your audience – seem like an afterthought. It works with the rest of your content, not against it
The difference in quality is also pronounced when a gallery is extended. When users load more photos is when a lot of our competitors stumble. If the gallery doesn’t mesh with the rest of the website, it has difficulty fitting additional content without breaking the mold. This is where the dreaded nested scroll bars often appear, or content just gets cut off completely, ruining user experience. Our gallery naturally extends the page, working with the content around it to keep a consistent flow to the page.
The fullscreen experience is actually enjoyable
With what’s out there now, clicking on a photo to enlarge it can be an instant engagement killer. When an enlarged photo gets pinched by the iframe, or gets anchored to the top of the page when you’ve scrolled down below the fold, you know you’re dealing with a cookie-cutter third-party vendor (or an overmatched web developer). Our gallery breaks free of the shackles of the iframe to provide a true fullscreen experience.
Speaking of fullscreen, many galleries enlarge photos, but fail to provide any navigation, so there often no notion of browsing enlarged photos. Users are often left to open and close each individual photo they want to see, which is incredibly frustrating. With simple forward and back capability, we actually provide a fullscreen browsing mode.
We track performance
The goal of these galleries is to generate engagement for the brand, but how do you know if they’re working? In order to evaluate performance, and find ways to improve it, you need to know how many clicks the gallery is getting. We have built-in tracking that monitors where and when clicks occur, allowing you to see how your users are interacting with the gallery.
